#8 TED Talk

➔ Charlie Todd - The shared experience of absurbity

➔ Three words I learned from the talk

1. crack up (ph. v.): to start laughing a lot
He walked in and everyone just cracked up.

2. stumble (v.): to step awkwardly while waking or running and fall or begin to fall
Running along the beach, she stumbled on a log and fell on the sand.

3. anonymous (adj.): made or done by someone whose name is not known or not made
    public
The money was donated by an anonymous benefactor.

➔ My comments on the talk

Charlie Todd gave us an interesting and meaningful talk. Although people in Improv Everywhere do some pranks or do something others think that are meaningless, they enjoyed the things they were doing. Also, they brought happiness to other people. I think Charlie Todd really knows how to "play" his life.
I like the conclusion that he maintained: "Play is a good thing" and "there's no right or wrong way to play".  In our busy and pressured life, we need some funny things to release our stress. So why not "play" like a kid that we used to be.
